Healthy food in Bangkok

Healthy food in Bangkok.

Together for promoting delicious and healthy food

Healthy food in Bangkok, where do we find it? Four special guests have been invited to Patom Organic Living, a beautiful (and lush) place located in Sukhumvit Soi 49 in Bangkok, to explain how and why nowadays is important to add healthy food in our diet.

From left: Mr Suebwong Kaewthipharat, Ms Bee Pranaya, Ms Benjaporn Karoonkornsakul and Mr Francesco Lenzi

The guide “Healthicious Dishes From Well Selected Restaurants” has been published by KTC & GastroGasm and one of Lenzi’s signature dishes is on the cover, we are talking about a New Zeland salmon (eco-sustainable) in sesame crust, vegetables, porcini mushrooms, beetroot mayonnaise and yoghurt (from our menu “Salmone della Nuova Zelanda in crosta di sesamo con caponata, porcini, maionese di barbabietola e yoghurt”).

“Our Mediterranean cuisine includes simple ingredients that are healthy and good for our body” says our chef Francesco “I’m talking about garlic, tomatoes, pasta with its grain, extra-virgin olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Just mixing these 5 ingredients we could create a complete and low fat dish; at Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen we serve 90grams of pasta which is the right quantity of energy (pasta is equivalent of grain so it’s full of carbohydrate) requests by our body and we suggest to match it with some meet or a grilled fish and vegetable. We do not like to cook fat food, or at least not that much! We use extra-virgin olive in the kitchen and in the final plate, no butter or other fatty condiments. Then of course, as K Benjaporn said, it’s very important to combine a good diet with fitness & sport”
